Enabling quality solar panel manufacturing

Solar energy is one of the most popular sources of renewable energy for industries, businesses, and homes. At HHV Pumps, we believe in promoting more sustainable practices and being a part of this vital industry is a step in a greener direction.

Vacuum solutions like the multistage dry vacuum pumps play a crucial role in several different stages of solar panel construction. From making photovoltaic cells, coating deposition and lamination applications, vacuum technology is helping manufacturers increase production and reduce cost of ownership in the solar industry. That’s why choosing the right vacuum pump will ultimately determine the quality, longevity and overall effectiveness of solar panels.

HHV Pumps has a wide range of expertise and products that can help you manufacture and produce dependable solar panels that will power lives for years to come.

Why choose  HHV Pumps?

Processes we support.

Solar Lamination.

Lamination is a process where the solar cells are sandwiched with binding material and glass sheets or glass at one side and another aluminium sheet for better reflection. This sandwich will undergo hot pressing machine where vacuum is used to remove air. This process helps to degas the resin and avoid bubbles.

EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) are critical vapours which are generated in the process from the binding material. They can deposit in the internal parts of the vacuum pump. However, it is also possible to raise the internal temperature of the dry vacuum pump to reduce the EVA deposition. Since EVA has melting point above 100° C, it will try to deposit, since the temperature of the vacuum pump is lower than melting point of EVA. HHV Pumps helps tackle this problem with the solution of raising the internal temperature to the melting point or above that and a pneumatic intermediate purge which helps to drive the EVA vapours quicker to reduce the resident time of EVA inside the vacuum pump.
