HHV Pumps

Optimise woodworking processes with vacuum

HHV Pumps caters to a wide range of industries, providing vacuum pumps and boosters for applications that make some our everyday products possible. The woodworking industry and vacuum technology go hand in hand. Technologies like oil sealed rotary vane vacuum pumps are essential in powering the variety of applications involved in woodworking processes like holding and lifting, laminating and wood drying.

How does it work?

For a typical process like holding, a wooden frame is held with vacuum that helps to keep it steady while the computer programmed router/tool (CNC) does the engraving, cutting or carving process on the wood

Lamination is another process that relies on vacuum power to ensure clean, efficient work on wood surfaces. Our decades long experience in the industry ensure that we can provide your processes with the right vacuum pump and services to keep your processes running smoothly.

Why choose  HHV Pumps?

Processes we support.

Vacuum holding.

Vacuum helps to hold down the wood while the computer programmed router/tool does the engraving, cutting or carving process on the wood. In order to hold the piece safely and prevent shifting while the spindle cuts into the material, CNC shops often rely on vacuum technology to hold down entire pieces of wood throughout the production line.

Vacuum: 100 – 400 mbar

Vacuum lamination.

Lamination sheet is bonded with the wooden plate with glue. For the uniform lamination without skin peel off, we need to perform this process under vacuum. Vacuum helps to remove trapped gas and vapour from the glue which instantly prevents defects and ensures blister-free lamination.
